Nice EarringsMay 20, 2008
The earrings arrive individually packaged in boxes, so they're ideal for gift-giving.
The gemstones are very good quality. However, they are smaller than I anticipated, but for $20/pair, they're a good buy.

I liked the size of the earrings, since I just wanted discreet studs, and having multi-colored gems was a plus as I had a choice to match different outfits. However, I found the backs to be fragile - they twist and loosen easily. I've already lost one on the first month.

I had gotten this set for $59.99, and it's worth every penny to get quality earrings, especially when I have sensitive ears. My 7yo recently had her ears pierced, so the last thing I want to do is worry about infections from junk jewelry and supposed "hypoallergenic" earrings. I purchased this set for her, which she loves, and there's been no irritation.

Almost half the size of the similar sterling silver set !Feb 26, 2008
I too purchased these based upon the reviews, however after receiving them I went back and read the reviews again. What I realized was that at least one 5 star rating was from someone that had purchased the sterling silver set and had yet to receive the gold set.
If you look closely at the descriptions, you will see that the gem weight of the silver set is nearly twice the weight, which explains why those pieces were perceived as being larger. They actually are larger!
At the lightening deal price of $59.99, the price per pair is only $12, which is an excellent value, but the stones are simply too small for me.
As for the quality; other than the size, I found nothing wrong with the quality. The stones have good coloring. They're not washed out as you will sometimes see.
I must agree with another reviewer, the size of the stones in the gold set are better suited to a child. Frankly, I would have difficulty keeping these earrings from falling out of my ears.

I had these sent to my mother, and she's very pleased! She has several ear-piercings and wanted small studs to wear in addition to a pair of larger, dangling earrings. These were a perfect size; they are big enough to show color and cut, but small enough to wear in multiple piercings and/or for a little girl or a woman who likes understated jewelry. They came packaged separately in five boxes, so they'd also be great as five small gifts for a few of your favorite ladies.
